When you call 9-1-1 or your local non-emergency line, E-Comm collects personal information from you as described below.
- Calls are recorded for quality assurance, training and investigation purposes.
- During calls, E-Comm may collect additional information from you:
- for contact purposes,
- to dispatch your call to the right location,
- to connect you as quickly as possible to the agency and services you requested,
- to relay vital information electronically to the dispatchers and emergency personnel on their way to help, and
- for investigation purposes.
